The heart, soul, and stuffing of this site.

Lucy was my first "all mine" dog. She's pretty cool. She keeps me out of trouble. She's my soul dog. She's waiting for me on the other side, along with her half-brother Tommy.

Beau is my buddy. He's the one that gets me into trouble. He's my heart dog. (he's also my sisu dog, for the Finns out there). Beau's breeder is Cat's Cradle's Catahoulas. One of my brothers owns Cat's Cradle's Jake-- a black and brindle 3/4 brother to Beau.

Stuffy is my stuffed dog. He's a toy. He's not real, no matter what passersby might think from time to time. All things considered, he gets around pretty well.

And then there's me. I'm just your friendly neighborhood webmaster.

Believe it or not, but this site used to be just about hiking with dogs--no gear patterns, no paddling, no nuthin'. Since I was afraid some of that info might be hard to find with all the sections now, I'm adding the dog info here, as well (I hope that makes sense).
